The landscape of Gran Canaria varies greatly from Valley to Mountain, from barren to lush forestry and from coastal to inner island beauty. There are those that compare the importance of Gran Canarias botany to that of the zoology of the Gallapagos Islands and there is an abundance of rare and interesting flora for the hiker to witness. Regarding Fauna, there are no large vertebrates of harmful species on Gran Canaria. In fact the most likely encounter on route is to be a member of one of the hundreds of lizard species native to the island.

Reservations can be made for groups up to 8 people as well as individuals and will always include insurance and an accompanying guide as well as a picnic. You are welcome to join others in a group or if you wish a personal experience we encourage you to contact us before booking.
Most hikes last between 4 and 5 hours and itineraries are always agreed with you to ensure level of difficulty and places visited are best suited to your needs. Photos and/or videos of your experience are also included in the price as well as the use of any necessary equipment.
Due to the nature of the activity attendees should be in good health and able to undertake light/moderate exercise. The tour is not recommended for pregnant women.
Cost of Hiking in Gran Canaria in 2023 is 70 € per person.
Children must be accompanied by an adult. Due to the nature of the activity we do not recommend it for particularly small children.
You should bring a small back pack containing snacks and some sun cream. It is advisable to carry at least 1.5 litres of water.
You should wear good walking shoes and comfortable clothes. A sun hat or cap may be appropriate according to weather conditions. We do not recommend wearing open shoes.
We do not recommend anyone with a fear of heights attend the hike.
