The park offers you the chance to see many different species of parrots and other birds as its name suggests but it is also home to so much more. You may visit the Penguin enclosure and see the majestic Red Panda while visiting the park. There is also an Orca show for you to get up close and personal with marine life. Recently opened is the Lion enclosure where you can see three Angola lions that are on the brink of extinction and have been brought to the park in an effort of boosting their numbers.

Loro Park From Gran Canaria is open every Tuesday and Thursday
in the tourist zones of southern Gran Canaria and Las Palmas G.C.
The fast ferry leaves from the port at Agaete in Gran Canaria at 08:30 and 10:30 each morning. These times are subject to change so please follow confirmation emails closely. The journey to Tenerife lasts around 80 minutes.
Whilst on board the fast ferry you will have access to the restaurants and lounges so that your journey will be comfortable. You will also be able to access wifi free of charge once on board so that you can pass the time as you cross the waters towards Tenerife. The crossing is usually made by trimaran which offers a speedy and comfortable journey to your destination.
Once you reach Santa Cruz inTenerife there is a free shuttle service available that will take you to the park. This leaves from Plaza de los Reyes Catolicos at half past the hour starting at 10:30 and running throughout the day. The shuttle service returns at quarter past the hour throughout the day with the last service at 17:15 allowing you plenty of time to make the 18:00 ferry should you so choose.
Return journeys run every 2 hours from 14:00 to 20:00 although times are subject to change and you will need to check your confirmation carefully.
