Snorkelling is a sport that can be done by adults and children who know how to swim. Thanks to the warm Atlantic waters that surround the Canary Islands you will find yourself able to snorkel all year round with plenty of marine life to witness.
The temperatures rarely fall below 20ËšC and the waters rarely below 18ËšC even in the coldest of winters. There truly is never a dull moment under the sea!
There is a plethora of underwater flora and fauna to behold on one of the snorkelling tours. You may witness some of the tropical fish such as trumpet fish and parrotfish, as well as different types of rays. You may also encounter barracudas, spits, bogas and many more. If you are really lucky you may catch sight of the emblematic species, the angel shark, only found on the coasts of the Canary Islands.

Puerto Mogan offers a unique snorkelling experience. The guided tour will provide you with the opportunity to see the bottom perfectly in its shallower waters. The waters here are calm thus making the experience suitable for both the young and old. This experience will last approximately one hour.
Leaving from the dive centre located 50 metres from the beach at Mogan you may choose to depart by boat to snorkel in the deeper waters of the Atlantic Ocean. You will be taken by 7.5 RIB boat to see the sea bottom from both the coast and the boat. This tour will last approx. two hours from the arrival at the dive centre until the return. The guide will explain everything there is to know about  the area visited and flora and fauna species that you can see.
The centre prefers to use always neoprene suits in addition to fins, mask and snorkel, as it allows you to spend longer in the water without feeling cold. For safety purposes the tour guide carries a signal buoy.
