On your amazing adventure below the surface you can explore the world below water and the sheer numbers of species of sea life that live in the volcanic waters of the Canary Islands will astound you. If luck is on your side you may get to swim with one of the friendly rays that often approach divers or catch a glimpse of one of the many sea turtles that frequent the warm waters.
There are numerous dive sites of interest available from the beautiful island of Lanzarote. The vast majority of dive sites range from 6 – 40 metres deep and as they are situated right next to the shore line, most of them are easily accessible by land. The waters around the Island of Lanzarote hold many different adventures to be lived. Whether you want to explore abandoned shipwrecks, volcanic reefs or hidden underwater caves and tunnels you are sure to find a dive site that appeals to you. Of course the marine life is second to none as many thousands of species are local with many more arriving to breed. You are likely to meet Zebra Bream, Lizard Fish, Unicorn Fish and Manta Rays to name but a few.
Diving is available for both qualified and beginner divers. Beginners will be accompanied by trained SSI instructors who will provide you with comprehensive training and enable you to dive in the safest environment. All abilities can have a safe and enjoyable experience!Â

Beginners Try Dive
You will arrive at the centre at the agreed time (08:30 or 14:30) where you will promptly begin your training. You will receive a safety brief and all necessary training to enable you to dive with confidence. This will be carried out by a fully qualified instructor who will provide you with training on the theory of diving, operation of equipment, underwater behaviour and safety regulations. Your instructor will then accompany you on the practical part of the excursion as you fully immerse yourself in the sea. After your trial dive you will return to the dive centre where you will receive a diploma to document your dive.
The excursion lasts approximately 2 hours from arrival at the centre. The price of your ticket includes all the necessary equipment as well as driving insurance, attendance certificate and a souvenir photograph to commemorate your dive.
Locker, bathroom and changing facilities are available at the centre. You will need to bring your bathing costumes, towel and drinks. You will be able to use the SCUBA equipment provided by the centre.
Beginners – Basic Diver (x2 Try Dives)
If you would like to gain more experience than the basic Try Dive then you may choose to purchase this package. As with the Try Dive package all your training and equipment are provided by the centre. Following the first dive you will make a surface break and rest with a drink and snack to rehydrate and restore your energy. You will then receive a second briefing from your instructor before complete your second dive. This dive will take place from the boat the Maresia and will be in slightly deeper waters. As with the Try Dive package you will receive a certificate on completion of your dives. This excursion lasts approximately 4 hours from arrival at the centre.

Professional divers
There are numerous dive sites of interest available along the coastline and many of these are accessible by land. For the divers who wish to explore at further depths we take you by Zodiac boat, from the centre to the dive location in just a few minutes. Here the captain will check the water visibility to ensure that you have the best underwater experience. All of our instructors are fully licensed and well versed in the marine geography and geology of the island.
