The tour starts at the entrance to the National park and will take you through a plethora of different landscapes. You will see the Camel Park at Timanfaya and be given the option of a camel ride. This is a short stop, ideal for taking pictures before you set off through the 14 kilometre long route of the volcanoes!

El Golfo Volcano, thought to be the most beautiful of the Canary Island volcanoes will be your next stop. You will be given a demonstration of the earth fire and shown different experiments to make you marvel that the earth can hold such secrets. After a refreshment break at a restaurant overlooking the Green Lake and the volcano itself, and you are ready to take the next step of the tour.

There will be a brief photo stop on the cliff tops, with views of the Salt Pans of Janubio and then on towards to the vineyards of La Geria and its contrasting green landscape. Here you will be able to sample the locally produced wine, its unique taste blended from the rich volcanic soil itself.

Your next stop will be the Monument to Fertility and the Cactus Gardens to see the last work of Cesar Manrique. The Cactus Gardens are home to over 1000 species of cactus, mainly of South American origin, and truly an amazing sight.

Your final stop of the day will take you to the submerged world of the Lanzarote coastline and the cave Jameas del Agua through to the Cueva de los Verdes, where you can marvel at this hidden world and its amazing vibrant green colours, before your itinerary comes to an end and you are returned to your hotel or apartment in Lanzarote.

This is a fabulous day out that you are sure to appreciate. Whilst it is perhaps not for very young children, anyone enjoying good health can enjoy this tour.

What is included in the price?

Air conditioned transport is included together with our professionally qualified guides. Guides will speak at least two languages and remain with you throughout the tour. Also included will be your entrance to the Timanfaya National Park and the two caves, plus a complimentary bottle of water at the start of your tour.

What’s not included?

Lunch is a payable optional extra as are any drinks you choose to purchase throughout the day. The Camel ride is also a payable optional extra.

What do you recommend I bring with me?

First and foremost, do wear comfortable shoes. Good footwear is important due to the visit to the caves! Bring your camera or mobile phone along with you for those unmissable events that unfold throughout the day. A hat and sunglasses are advisable throughout the summer months, likewise your sun cream. For the higher ground it is recommended that you bring a jacket or sweater with you as it can become quite windy.
